Here is Bruder Oscar Space Marine of the 3rd Gruppe 2nd Gefechtskompanie of the Galactic Knights/Ordo Teutonicus.

Only 6 more in the Squad/Gruppe to do. As I am of to Salute tomorrow it will take some time until there will be more figures finished.
“Hi Everyone.
When the Prof passed LAF to me, one of my first thoughts was to do a special miniature that would only be available to members.
I work with Mark Copplestone, one of this forums favourite designers, so I spoke to him about it and he was keen to do it. We thought something with a Pulp theme would suit LAF, and so we are proud to present the International Adventurer!
Cheers
Nick Eyre of Northstar Miniatures”
As a member of the LAF forum I got myself the miniature too. In truth I got more then one 😉 I converted one of the figures to be useable in a Scifi setting ( e.g. Warhammer40000) the other was left as it was .  Have a look for the greenstuff and bits conversion here.
The pictures of the unconverted painted figure:
The figure for Warhammer 40000:
The two next to each other:

The SCIFI figure will be used as a leader of a renegade unit in the Warhammer 40000 universe.
Here is the Komtur of the 3rd Gruppe 2nd Gefechtskompanie of the Galactic Knights Space marine Chapter. Komtur Karl is a former member of the Elite first Gefechtskompanie also known as “Mondkrieger” ( Moonwarriors) , therefor he wears the icon of the Mondkrieger on his left knee. A blue moon with the name Mondkrieger above in red. On the right knee he wears the Gruppe sign of the 3rd Gruppe a red chapter cross.

Here is the icon of the Mondkrieger a bit bigger :

The icon on the figure is a decal I made with decal paper and a printer. As I do all my decals.
Here are some more pictures of Karl:
The black helmet also denotes him as a member of the first Gefechtskompanie. All members of the first Kompanie wear black helmets instead of white ones to denote their elite status. So as a former member and a Komtur he has a black helmet with a red stripe denoting his rank.
Next up some more members of the 3rd Gruppe.
Now that I dropped out of the build something Contest on Lead Adventure Forum I can show pictures of the finished and painted build. Here is the picture I handed in for the contest. You were only allowed to send in one picture .
Here is the man himself “Mr. Eardrumsplitta”:

The drummer:

Simon thats one of the Gretchin you gave to me so generously!

The Stage:

Turn up the volume!

The Tank:
And a few shots of the band:

Hope you like my effort. if so feel free to like or leave a coment!
I got myself a new camera, the Sony Alpha 7.

I know that you can get a newer model but this one was quite cheap for the value you get. I took the first pictures with it yesterday, using a spacer ring for macro pictures. Here are the pictures of “Squigloover” my gretchin herder:

The pictures were taken without a flash and only with the normal lighting of my hobby room no lightbox or additional lighting was necessary. The lens I used was a 50mm fixed focal lens by Sony and a macro spacer ring. I think the pictures are quite nice, at least much better the the ones taken with my iPhone ( all the other pictures on this blog). What do you think?
I finished building the stage yesterday. Here are pictures of the changes and additions I did:

I added a sign on top of the speakers. This will display the name of the band in ork glyphs  then I added cabling for the speakers , the guitars and the microphone of the singer.

Here you see the cabling on the singer figure.
Then I added bolts, rivets and nuts to the stage:

And thats what the stage with band looks like at the moment:

I will post pictures of the base coated model in a few days. Then there will be a hiatus as we are not supposed to show pictures of the painted models before the contest is finished.
