Son of the village headman

Here is the next vietnamese civillian figure. He is dressed in a bit better clothes . So I thought he might be the son of the village chief.

Or he might be a leader of a unit of Viet Cong:

Armed with a french gun with folding stock.

And both figures together:

Just a harmless woman tending the field

This is another one of the VC in disguise by Empress Miniatures. A very nice sculpt, especially the face.

But if she gets disturbed, she runs to the hidden weapons and gets the gun out:

And both figures next to each other:

My first Seal team completed

Here is the last Seal for my first team. Armed with a M16 grenade launcher combo.

Below is the complete team:

Next up some 3D printed goodies….

Seal armed with a chinese made AK47

After a longer brake, I had a lot to do in my daytime job, here is the next Seal. He is armed with a chinese AK47. the report of the gun would not give him away as an American. He is taking aim with a pistol equipped with a silencer. The figure is from the Seal pack by Empress Miniatures.

More to come hopefully in the near future…..

Navy Seal with heavy punch

This one is armed with a LAW, sawn off shotgun and a light machine gun. Furthermore he has 2 fragmentation grenades.

Seal with M60

Here is the heavy weapons specialist of my Seal Team. He is armed with an M60. Ammo is supplied from a ammo feed system taken from a chopper door gun.

Navy Seal RTO

This Navy Seal is the RTO of my Team. He is equiped with a Prick25 radio. He holds a smoke grenade in his right hand ready to throw .

Navy Seals in ERDL camoflage

So after a longer hiatus, real life came inbetween, here is the next painted figure for my ongoing Vietnam War project.

Here is the first of my Navy Seal Team . He is wearing a Levis. This was often the case , as the jeans was a robust, tight fit. So better against leaches. The figure is sculpted by Paul Hicks and avalable through Empress Miniatures. The pack contains a 6 men Seal Team.

To the market

Is he really on the way to the market?

Or on his way to kill someone?

The next VC in disguise. Always check every sack of rice !

The proud owner of a rice paddy

This Vietnamese village elder looks proudly over the rice paddies of his village, or is he looking for the imperialist enemy?

OOPs, he had a rifle hidden in the elephant grass behind him… better look more closely next time!
