Agincourt French Infantry 1415-29

This set contains 36 infantry and 6 men at arms/knights. The infantry are armed with spears, crossbows, double-handed weapons and hand weapons. The men at arms have pole arms, hand weapons and cut-down lances/spears. All the figures in this box can actually be used for any Western European army of the period as the clothing and armour styles were very similar. The components of this set can also be mixed with the English Army boxed set (AO 40). Although the men at arms are specifically designed for the 1415-29 period, the infantry could be used for the 1390’s through to the 1430’s/40s.

Above are samples from the Agincourt French men at arms frame just in.
There will be one of these frames (6 figures) in the Agincourt French Infantry box set along with 3 French Infantry frames shown previously. In all 42 figures.

For the Agincourt Foot Knights set there will be 3 French men at arms frames and 3 English men at arms frames (previously released with the Agincourt English Army set) in the box. In all 36 figures.

Renedra, who are always up for a challenge have done it again with the fine details on visors and weapons etc. on this frame.

All three sets (including the English Army set) have interchangeable parts allowing an enormous choice of individual figures to be created by the customer.
There are more pictures on the Perry site! And on there Facebook page

Medieval Mercenarys for WotR and GoT

all4horsemen

I started building 4 mercenary men at arms for GoT but they could also be used for WotR etc. It is a mixt unit of mercenaries, armed with bow, crossbow, lance and bill.

I always build a infantry figure resembling the cavalry figure on foot to be able to use the same character riding and walking. But enough words let the pictures speak for themselves .

Unboxing the new Perry WotR light horse 1450-1500

Today I got a big parcel in the mail containing the new Perry WotR light horse plastic figures.

There are enough parts for 12 figures. You can build either 12 horsemen with spears , Bows or crossbows. There are enough different heads to build 12 individual riders. It also contains parts for command figures, banners and historical infomation. These are compatible with the other plastic WotR sets by the Perries and you could even use parts from the latest English Army 1415-1429 set

There is no flash on the sprues so there shouldn’t be much preparation to be done before glueing the figures as expected by a Perry set.

The horse spurs are the same as in the other WotR sets.

I will probably use mine for my GoT Lannister Army.
