Now that I am back from a very nice weekend in Antwerp I would like to show you some pictures of Crisis 2016. I took about 330 pictures therefore it took me a wile to sort them all out therefore the report is only up now. Feel free to leave comments .

So here are the pictures. To start with a few pictures of the venue:

And now the games that could be seen at Crisis:

First is an absolutely stunning game showing Romans against Barbarians . What I think is really outstanding is the boats on the river!

Next up is The battle of Saticula 343 BC . This was the second of three Battlestaking place in the first year of the first Samnite War (343-341 BC). This game was presented by the war games club Militia Brabantia.

This sharp practice game used a rather splendid ship model in 28mm scale:

Next is a Iwo Jima game by the Murphy’s heroes:

The Alde Garde brought a Early 16th Century Game with them:

An absolutely gorgeous Warhammer 40000 game by Kraken Wargames. Imperial Fists against Genestealers

That were the Games I captured with my camera. I know there was a lot more to be seen but I couldn’t just manage to take pictures of everything.

So this is it for Crisis 2016. It was a very good show again and it was even bigger then last year! Go on like this Tin soldiers of Antwerp ! I will be back next year!

Salute 2016 Convention Report

So this years Salute is over. It was a very good show again bigger then the years before. The warlords used a separate hall for queuing, so there was now crowd in the main hall of the convention centre. There was a lot of space to wander around without bumping into other gamers.

The Tactica Convention Report

Now that I am back from Hamburg I will start a convention Report on the Convention report page.

It was a very good convention to go to, to say the most important at the start. I will definitely go there again. It was quite full and the air was as usual at conventions very hot and at some places smelly. But I think that must be the case when nerds meet 🙂

I started working on the pictures I took but there are so many that it will take some time to sort them all. So for the time being here is a little overview until the real report starts.

On my way to Hamburg for the Tactica

Tomorrow morning I will leave for Hamburg in the early morning hours. It is a three hours drive from were I live . So it will be a very long and very exciting day!

Hamma, Lombard Leader

With this year’s special Hamburg Tactica miniature they travel far back in time. As befits the ROME theme room, they have chosen a Lombard lord of the time around the birth of Christ.

The Hamburg Tactica 2016

I will be at the Hamburg Tactica ,on Saturday the 27th of February , for the first time.The Tactica is a 2 day convention held on the 27th and 28th of Febr. 2016 in Hamburg Germany.

The complete address of the venue is:

Bürgerhaus Wilhelmsburg Mengestr. 20, 21107 Hamburg

The convention runs on Saturday from 10am to 8pm and on Sunday from 9am to 4 pm
