Salute 2016 Convention Report
So this years Salute is over. It was a very good show again bigger then the years before. The warlords used a separate hall for queuing, so there was now crowd in the main hall of the convention centre. There was a lot of space to wander around without bumping into other gamers.

Salute 2016
Tomorrow on the 16th of April 23016 the Salute show takes place in London! So this will be the last post before the show .
Salute takes place at Londen Excel center. ExCeL London is located in the Docklands area to the east of the centre, just a 10 minute drive from Tower Bridge and a 25 minute drive from Junction 30 on the M25. The venue is also easily reached from Central London via the Limehouse Link and via the M25, A13, M11, A406 (North Circular), the Blackwall Tunnel and Rotherhithe Tunnel from other parts of the country. For more info on how to get there go here. The show will open at 10:00 !

The completed Stark army for Dragon Rampant
So, after finishing the last miniature in the last planned unit for my Stark army I thought I might show you the army as it is now. There will be the occasional figure added to the army over time but the biggest part is finished. From now on I will add only allied troops to this army like a combined unit of House Glover. More of that in the coming weeks.

These were painted inside a year. I hope to get quicker with the next houses. Now to finish the Lannister bow unit and with this the complete Lannister army!

At last the last Stark archer
Here is the last Stark archer out of the “conquest” plasticc archer box.
After 12 archers ( in reality there are 24 as I did the Lannister bow unit at the same time) the next miniatures will not really be another archer unit so watch this space for further updates!

The start into a new week with another Stark archer
I decided at the weekend that I will do the last Stark archers in a row followed by the last Lannister ones next week . So here is the 8th archer . This time an armored one strait build out of the conquest game box.
When the archers are finished my Stark army will be complete for the time being. I will then start allies for the Starks like house Glover etc. These will be single unit expansions of my Dragon Rampant army for the north then.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is an upcoming live-action Star Wars film, the first in the Star Wars Anthology Series. The film will be directed by Gareth Edwards. Gary Whitta worked on the script throughout 2014, and Chris Weitz took over final scripting duties in 2015. Felicity Jones is the first confirmed star of the film.
The film, which began production in August 2015, is set between the films Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. The plot revolves around a band of resistance fighters uniting to steal the plans to the Death Star, the Galactic Empire’s planet-destroying battle station. The theft of the Death Star plans was first referenced in the opening crawl in A New Hope.
