The giveaway figure for the first 1500 through the door, this year, is Queen Maud.
Say hi to Queen Maud. Sculpted by, my very good friend ,Paul HIcks and cast by Griffin moulds, she used to answer to the name Matilde of Flanders before she got married to William the Bastard. Misses The bastard quickly changed her name to The conqueror when her husband went on a excursion to Britain in 1066. As a true couple they shared troops to conquer this country and become King and Queen.

So this years Salute is over. It was a very good show again bigger then the years before. The warlords used a separate hall for queuing, so there was now crowd in the main hall of the convention centre. There was a lot of space to wander around without bumping into other gamers.

Tomorrow on the 16th of April 23016 the Salute show takes place in London! So this will be the last post before the show .
Salute takes place at Londen Excel center. ExCeL London is located in the Docklands area to the east of the centre, just a 10 minute drive from Tower Bridge and a 25 minute drive from Junction 30 on the M25. The venue is also easily reached from Central London via the Limehouse Link and via the M25, A13, M11, A406 (North Circular), the Blackwall Tunnel and Rotherhithe Tunnel from other parts of the country. For more info on how to get there go here. The show will open at 10:00 !

Now that I am back from Hamburg I will start a convention Report on the Convention report page.
It was a very good convention to go to, to say the most important at the start. I will definitely go there again. It was quite full and the air was as usual at conventions very hot and at some places smelly. But I think that must be the case when nerds meet 🙂
I started working on the pictures I took but there are so many that it will take some time to sort them all. So for the time being here is a little overview until the real report starts.
This is all for now more as soon as I find time to sort the Pictures.
